Fantasy League History Assist (fantasyleaguehistoryassist.com) is a free, unofficial site that shows the all-time history of a fantasy football league. It isn't affiliated with ESPN or Sleeper. This page explains what the site collects and why.
League data we save
- When someone loads a league, we save that league's history from Sleeper or ESPN: league and team names, manager display names (for private ESPN leagues, first name and last initial), scores, standings, drafts, rosters, trades and waiver moves.
- Each league is saved under an unguessable link. Anyone with that link can view the league and edit manager names and merges. We keep a list of recent name changes (with an optional name the editor types) so changes can be undone.
- We count how many times each league page is opened. We don't save your IP address with league data.
ESPN logins
For a private ESPN league, you can give the site your ESPN cookies (espn_s2 and SWID). They are sent to our server for one request, passed to ESPN to read your league, and never saved or logged on our server. If you tick "remember," they are kept only in your own browser's storage, and you can clear them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your browser
The site stores a few things in your browser's local storage so it opens faster: a copy of leagues you've opened, your recent leagues, and display settings. Nothing in local storage is sent to us except when you load or update a league.
Advertising
The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad Settings, and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Services we use
- GitHub Pages hosts the website.
- Supabase runs the server and stores saved leagues.
- Sleeper and ESPN are where league data comes from.
- Google Fonts provides the fonts, and Google AdSense provides ads.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
Removing a league
To have a saved league removed, send the league's link through the contact page below and it will be deleted.
